Bronx Arts Initiative is a small collective in the bronx with one main objective; that is to create a public space for artists where they can work on their craft, similar to how a library is a public space for reading. They want arts to be accessible to everyone in the Bronx area, so to fund their idea, they started hosting shows to pitch the idea and gain funding via donations. These are photos from the first 3 open mics that they hosted for as Bronx Arts Initiative; this gallery specifically highlight the artists in the spaces as a way for me to promote the people in my community.
